Birds and berries at the chateau!

I was in Fontainebleau this morning for a hair appointment - a longish one, since I was having my highlights re-done as well as a cut. Afterwards, I treated myself to a coffee, before going for a fairly long walk round the grounds of the chateau. It had been a grey damp morning, but as I walked it began to brighten up into a fair afternoon. Besides the usual swans, gulls, coots, magpies and Canada geese, I also saw two grebes and a jay, but unfortunately I wasn't able to get a decent shot of them
