Dundas Street, Edinburgh
I donned my chauffeur's cap today to drive friend Anne through to the capital to deliver paintings to two galleries in Dundas Street.
While she was doing the business, I blipped this scene through the car window. I liked the row of shops: gallery, estate agent, café, ringmaker and travel agent. How very Edinburgh!
The fellow on the window-sill two floors up clinched it!
Although it was a very beautiful, very frosty, very sunny day, the low-lying sun was dazzling, almost blinding, for much of the drive in both directions, but worse on the way home, leaving me with a thumping headache.
