Today's the day ......................... to brighten up

Woke up to a glorious day today.  The sky was blue, the sun was shining - and there was little to remind us of the recent cold, blustery - and very wet - weather. 

This is the view looking north westwards to the town of Kendal nestling in the valley of the River Kent - and in the far distance, the start of the snowy Lakeland Fells ...........................
