The clothes in the Mystery plays appear to have come from Yorkshire in WWII.
Lucifer had a set of fallen angels like Bryan Adams female backing group, whilst Gabriel and the good angels were played like a slow version of the whirling dervishes
Man's fall from grace was shown by the children Adam & Eve changing to adults
The backdrop of the ruins of St. Mary's Abbey added to the drama.
