Sun Rise
St Ninians Old Parish in the background, with its bell tower and clock in the foreground. The tower is all that remains of the original church. Which was destroyed in 1746, by the Jacobite army. As they retreated they detonated the powder stored there, to prevent it falling into the hands of the government troops.
