Sausage clouds as the storm rolls in

We had a cold front move through which brought some thunderstorms this afternoon.  I took this from the roof of our building when I noticed the sausage clouds.  I chased a few rainbows later but they faded before I could even get to a vantage point.  Hmmmm.

And well done to Miffy, Esper and Madwill who correctly guessed a hand whisk or hand egg beater.  It was the wheel bit of it.  So virtual hearts for those who said wheel.
