Sudden shower

The much anticipated trip today was postponed owing to inclement weather. A Christmas tradition has been to go for a walk on a crisp, sunny morning and end up at Macknade's farm shop for one of their meat and cheese platters. A bit blustery with heavy showers persuaded us that muddy tracks around the Swale would not set the right ambience! So it is on hold.

Instead I did many bits and pieces in the morning before going out after lunch in a gap between showers. Didn't entirely escape the showers though as this shot shows. It was a magnificent rainbow, the complete arch, which I couldn't capture on the main camera. I had the iPhone with me but at the critical moment the pano function failed and spoilt what would have been a very good shot indeed.
