View from Hotel Bedroom

A bright, sunny day (after heavy rain overnight)

My wife and I are having a few days away at an hotel in Charlestown, on the shores of the Firth of Forth, just upstream from the the Three Bridges. We have a wonderful view of the Bridges, with the new Road Bridge in the foreground. This Bridge is well on the way to completion, hopefully by May next year. Many people have said it looks as if it is a three masted schooner, especially in the sunlight.The other bridges can be seen just behind it.

On our way down we passed the old 'Golf Ball' listening station near Kinross. The site is being sold for 1.2 million pounds, and should be of interest to some property developers. Whether they will keep the Golf Ball, a well known landmark remains to be seen.
