Casting warmth

I spent most of the day at Castletown Kinneigh Church today with workmen who had the challenging task of disassembling an altar which was built with new marble in 1991 to replace the orginal 1859 one (don't ask!). 
Today, it was taken out to make way for the rebuilding of an altar we have salvaged from a closed convent. It was sculpted in the 1840s by John Hogan and it is a masterpiece. We are blessed to have acquired it. It will be ready for Sunday.
