No bird brain this one

This Chaffinch had settled himself on the Squirrel baffle beneath the bird feeder. Some of the seeds dislodged by other birds fell close to the Chaffinch, which he was able to eat  comfortably. The alternative  would be feeding on the very  wet grass underneath.
