Landed

Probably because the river was fast flowing  dozens  of Swans, scores ducks, hundreds of gulls and a few geese were all on land today.  These chaps thought we had food but as we hadn't intended to stop there they weren't in luck.  I suspect there aren't many worms left in the field as hundreds of birds pecked away at the grass. If it doesn't stop raining soon there wont be a field either!
