Surplus to requirement

With all the rain we are having, my two watering cans are surplus to requirement. These two are at least 60 years old having been inherited from my stepfather. Lots of our garden tools came to us this way and we do like to use them, knowing their history.
The forecast is for the rain to ease for the rest of the week, but I don't expect to use the watering cans for a while yet.
