Beechnut

There's an enormous Purple Beech in the garden and the fact that this is one of the few times I've seen a Beechnut on the ground is testament to the squirrels nut gathering abilities.  I've been out in the garden blipping all sorts of things and I feel that I've never seen the place looking so sad and forlorn.  Everything has either died back or has been cut back and it's not the place it usually is. 

I brought the Beechnut back inside to blip and instead of putting it on the ipad as I often do, it was placed on the piano which has given it such nice reflections that I may use it again.
