A Hummer

Not my best hummingbird photo I have ever taken but it was either this or a shot from the bridal shower I shot today!

We got up this morning with all intentions of making the 20 minute drive out to Coquille where they were having their annual city wide garage sale that is held in the local park. We went last year and it was awesome! Well, our day didn't go as plan. We decided to sleep in a bit instead. Had a relaxing morning then decided to hit a few local yard sales. Didn't find much. We each found a book and a trinket. Stopped at one just before I had to go to the shower and the old guy running it was a talker and seemed kind of sad. Talked about his wife not being able to cook with her heavy cast iron pans which was why they were being sold. Then said that he was getting tired. Kind of sad to listen to him. He had a beautiful monkey tree and a huge display of butterfly bush. The hummers were flying all around. I asked if he minded if I got my camera out and seemed honored. So, this shot is from his yard.
Dropped Glenn at work then went to the shower. It was interesting. Kind of awkward as I didn't really know anyone. And the lady that asked if I could take photos I don't know all that well either. I think I got some nice photos for them!

We worked for a bit after then came home to wait for our masseuse. Such a great end to our weeks these days! We are lucky to have her come to the house and not charge an arm and a leg :)
