bag on head....

Visited another two Early Childhood Centres today.  The first one was in John Laing compound.  This is such a rocky area of Lusaka so you literally drive over rocks to reach the school!  We found it eventually and the poor teacher had about 60 kids ranging from 2 years to 8 years in her class!  So once again it was all rote learning with the smaller kids just amusing themselves.  This young girl amused me, I don't think she really wanted to be there and she kept her bag strap tightly round her head the whole time I was there!

The second school had all gone home by the time we got there as they had just done their exams.....3 year olds , 4 year olds and 5 year olds all had their separate exams.....cringe!!!
