Young Musician

We've been so impressed with Jimmy's musical talents, not only is he learned  the violin and the piano, but he's also been teaching himself to play the guitar  Here he is with his dad's base guitar, but he also demonstrated some accomplishment with a 6 string electric guitar.  What impressed me most is the way he can use `barring' to play sequential chords.  I could never do that.  He's got such long and flexible fingers.

I'm running very late with adding yesterdays blip and we're just about to set off on a trial run of this evenings activities which are in parts of Leeds I don't know too well.  We have to drop Bobby off at his Gymnastics club, which I think is somewhere in the Seacroft area and then return to pick Jimmy up from his Martial Arts Class, which is somewhere near a MacDonald's.  We have maps, and the children know where they are going, so hopefully we'll be OK.
