A Rose is a Rose.....

...but this one is special. It was given to me by my son. He had a co-worker at the welding shop make this for me. The petals are metal or heavy aluminum shaped into petals and the stem is a piece of barbed wire. It was all powder coated to give it the beautiful color of a rose. I found this in a box that I was going through recently. I've found stuff he drew when he was 4 & 5 years old and notes he wrote to me while in high school. It's difficult to go through forgotten pieces of the past.
