Happy Mallards

Normally one can walk across this tumbolo  (the “marshy “bridge” at the end of our bay that links 2 parts of the island)  and not get one's feet wet.  The tides have been so high that much of it is now covered in water.  The light was golden midday today on a walk (because it’s so low this time of year)  and I only had the telephoto but I’ll go back with a wide angle to record it.  The mallards are happy now and I think I see a few mergansers…
