Back to old haunts

This summer, because of the extreme heat, I have not taken too many photowalks in my neighborhood park, the source of most of my deer and bird blips. Today, though, was a beautiful day, sunny and cool...my kind of weather. A walk in the park seemed like a good idea. Unfortunately, the birds and the deer were in hiding, probably because of the huge number of park visitors.

I had about given up on finding an interesting blip, when we ran into our friends Jim and Bertha, with their senior dog Holly. Jim takes Holly for a walk in the park twice every day. They never go very far, traveling at Holly's pace, and when she decides it is time for a break, Holly sits down. Then Jim picks her up and cradles her in his arms, and that's how I got my blip today. Thanks, Holly!
