Well and truly dark

Arriving for the weekly football. Basically the same teams again with a couple of minor tweaks. Didn't change the result though, although this week we raced out of the blocks and never really looked back. Five goals to the good before they got onto the score sheet and from then on whenever they pulled a goal back we managed to cancel it out at the other end. If finished 15-8. Generally we passed quicker, moved quicker and were that bit more clinical in front of goal, even if the sides looked more even 'on paper'. Scored four myself - a couple of them as a result of pressurising their goalie into making a mistake as they tried to come out from the goal which is always good as it makes the effort chasing and harrying up front worthwhile. Most pleasing though was a pass to set up J as he overlapped down the wing. Once again he was at the heart of most of our moves - always a pleasure to play in the same team as him.
