A picnic table in Stockghyll Woods. 

With rain and winds forecast for the afternoon I got a short walk in this morning. It's a coincidence that while walking through the wood I was thinking (again) how uncared for it is ........ footpaths and steps are in need of repair and seats have been broken for years.  Then, soon after I got home the postman delivered, amongst other mail, a copy of the Parish newsletter. It mentions that the Parish Council are negotiating to take over management from the District Council. With the waterfalls at the top it deserves to be more inviting and accessible to visitors.
