Wake Up Wonderland

My Dear Fellow,

Very cold and foggy in Edinburgh this morning. I know this for a fact because I got into town for my commute earlier than normal and so went for a walk around the quiet town centre.

Here's a picture taken of Edinburgh's winter wonderland in Princes Street Gardens. I'm not sure why the lights were on at 7am this morning, but it was a nice sight. I'm not saying it warmed me up. Only a hot bath in chili sauce could have done that.

I had a pretty quiet day today, which gave me time to write the story of my relationship with Er Indoors. I actually really enjoyed it. I think everyone should do it. It reminded me just how much fun those early years were. 

Mind you, even though it started out great, it then went through a whole "Empire Strikes Back" dark second act when we had no money and got stuck here, but ended on a note of hope.

Well that came out sounding nerdier than I meant it to. Still, you get the idea.
