Shingles

Despite working Saturday night & feeling a bit sore yesterday, today I woke up in agony.

Already had called 111 yesterday after going to Boots to see the Pharmacist & was advised to call the doctors on the morning.

As per usual on a Monday you can never get through on the phone. Come to think of it you can't get through most mornings, so we decide to drop in as it's only 5 minutes from work.

Got an 11am appointment. 12.05 was finally seen to.

Now proud owner of very strong medication but still got a very painful rash.

Moral of the story don't move house when you have been ill with a big head cold. Immune system drops & you get this.

Fingers crossed the tablets will work quickly
