Obviously making a lot of space.

The cynic in me wonders if the space is needed for a load of new junk which they will be unwrapping in about five weeks from now.

Come to think of it I am doing a bit of that myself. A few bags of books are ready to go to the Oxfam bookshop. Twenty years ago we would never have got rid of books. But age changes attitudes as does fact that we own many hundreds of e books.
