Geese (I think)

Papers, followed by a potter about the garden. Shocker is that Dug has wrapped up the newly installed fig tree for the winter! I didn’t realise you had to do that with them. Most unattractive - I think I’d rather just have something native. And while surveying the scene, I caught that most evocative of sights and sounds - geese heading inland and away south for the winter. I say caught, I’m not sure the iPhone really did.
So, on-line to order some bolts for the shed to beef up security, and watch Weiner. What an intriguing little tale. Could happen to any of us, I guess. Haw. And then the evening’s highlight - Hare! Not that I caught it myself. I’ll wait for a ‘how-to’ book at Christmas for that.
