Ursa Major
The two Lu's came to visit today and we had a relaxed lunch out in the gardens followed by a stroll around windsor popping into Mauds for and ice-cream. The atmosphere down by the river was fantastic this afternoon and I think it s the first real heat I've felt since the holiday in fuertaventura back in may. This evening I took the two Lu's for a spot of stargazing and we saw Saturn, M13 and the Double Cluster. I never thought I'd be out with my scope in short's and T-shirt until 11.30pm. Would have been longer had it not been for a technical hitch but with an early start and a day in London planned for tomorrow, thats no bad thing. I hope you can spot the constellation plus what appear to be either two shooting stars or planes moving across the sky. You'll need to go large to see it..........
