A day at the museum

We ended up at the Natural History Museum to see the 'Titanic' exhibit. It was so cool! They gave us boarding passes of real passengers. My hubby went 1st class with his family. I was in 3rd class with mine, I was a 33 yr old married mother of 3. I had two children and a 9 week old baby girl on board. We were on our way to Kansas to start a business selling tobacco. My Titanic husband didn't survive but our family did. In fact the baby Milvina was the last living Titanic survivor. My hubby's passenger didn't survive, he was 61. His family did survive. The reason they were on the ship is that they were in Europe looking for husbands for their daughters when they received word that the oldest boy who was home in NY was killed in an automobile accident.

It was amazing how they replicated rooms and displayed things found at the bottom of the sea. It was moving. I really enjoyed it, in a strange way.

We went through the museum, watched a 3d movie about 'Flying Monsters' and enjoyed lunch.

Later he took me to The Prado in Balboa Park for dinner. It was so good! We had a great time.
