Nail biting match as Newcastle United weren't very good in the first half. Good job they kept a clean sheet as Spurs were the better team. Newcastle bucked up their ideas in the second half and the match ended with a 2 - 1 win for The Toon. The atmosphere was great - lots of chanting and singing.

My blip shows the two Newcastle mascots - Monty and Maggie. They go around the ground before the match and also make an appearance at half time. The weather today was really hot - it must have been very uncomfortable to be dressed in these heavy outfits.
