Raglan Street, Coventry

Wandering from the city, north into Hillfields, I turned in to Grantham Street. In the 60s, my mum used to get her hair done at aunty Effy's salon there, and as I recall, it is where I discovered the record, or, as my kids once called them, 'those big black CDs'. Effy later got into the pub trade, and the salon is long gone.
