Family portrait

House still standing and Angus still raging his winds this morning. Still we braved the weather for a 10 mile round trip to the beach.
My plan was get to the beach stop for a hot chocolate at the pub then head back. When I got to the beach turns out the pub is closed and partly knocked down. Very disappointed but luckily there is a little cafe that's opened up next door which is also dog friendly, result. Hot chocolate and a quick rest then back home. Dogs are suitably tired, Emmy did struggle towards the end, I do forget how old she is now.
Think I earned my camembert and mushroom pie for dinner. Now sitting with a sherry in front of the fire, lovely winters day.
