Rally in the Rain

We were in Berkeley for the big CAL/Stanford football game. The brave marching band personifies the spirit that reigned, in spite of the sporadic downpours through the afternoon and evening. It was pretty wet, and plastic ponchos in blue and gold were the rule of the day. 

The first extra shows the CAL team entering the stadium with the traditional hoopla of fireworks, which, amazingly didn't fizzle. Grandson is in a jumble of blue jerseys on the far left. 

The second extra is pure Berkeley. Apparently they still need a permit, but at least they have a parking place...
