Red rose
I was very tired this morning. I drove home through Storm Angus last night after the event and still uploaded my photos when I got home, so I only got to bed at 2am. I then woke up at 6.30am this morning to see Adam and Molly off, so I have been very tired with a thick head all day. A dog walk in the bracing cold did help to clear it a bit, followed by a coffee when I got home!
I spent all day editing the photos from last night - I hope they will be okay - I really hate using one flash, it makes everything so one dimensional with horrible shadows - maybe they are not too bad and I am being very critical. There was no time to get more photos today, and at about 4pm I realised I did not have a blip so I took my vase of red roses that I got from Adam and Molly outside, to get the best of the rapidly fading light. I am surprised how light this looks as it was almost dark outside and I have only used natural light here. It was very sweet of them to give me these roses (and mojito chocolates!)
All the boats have now set sail in the ARC challenge, and I will be logging the daily progress of Gavin and the crew through the ARC website tracker. He said it was warm with light winds when they set off.
