Monarch of the Glen

More from the wonderful Glen Etive.

In the week when there was an announcement that the iconic painting had come to an agreement that would see it on permanent display in the National Galleries I had the opportunity to take my own picture.

Not, of course, as grand as the original but not too shabby either!

It is amazing how the deer in Glen Etive are so chilled around people. They seem to enjoy posing for photos!
