After the Storm

We survived Storm Angus last night waking up to a calm, mild sunny morning. We decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and walked up to the village as they'd been reports online of a tree down  overnight closing the main road. I thought it might have been a beautiful cherry tree outside the community centre but that was still there thankfully.

We walked back around the lanes and saw all the debris from fallen branches and leaves. The grass in the surrounding fields had been flattened by the gales but strangely enough the dandelions were still standing proud full of seeds, a very curious sight!
