To The Rescue

Had a great day at Silver Sands near Aberdour today, well we didn't actually get there until 2pm as we had to go and get some things for C starting back to school next week.

That said, when we got there the sky really cleared and the sun shone strongly. We went for a walk across the rocks and when we got around the other side this RNLI lifeboat was whizzing across the Forth from the Edinburgh side.

We were all ready for some great rescue to take place, but as they drew nearer the shore they cut the engines and pointed at some rocks. Not really quite the dramatic life saving rescue we were hoping for, but it was great to see the lifeboat in full flow.
