How much!

On the way back from Norfolk I met my pal Graham on the train up from London in Wellingborough. He wanted to visit the factory shoe shops to look for some new brogues. Given my love of Northamptonshire made shoes, well boots to be more precise, it was never going to end well for my bank balance. 

I resisted at Barker's, also at the DM factory shop as they only had one pair of MiE (Made in England) DMs in stock, but I fell at the last (no pun intended!), and the last had to be Cheaney's in Desborough didn't it...

Oh, well it's only money, you can't take it with you!

But they are lovely boots and if they last as well as my 25 year old Grenson Derby boots, which I fully expect they will, then I've not been robbed.
