Checking Methane In The Byre

As part of today's Field of Enquiry programme at Whitmuir Farm we were talking ruminants, greenhouse gases, land management & cost of meat production - this was Dr Tony Waterhouse from Scotland's Rural College trying to take a methane sample in the cow shed (the machine wasn't playing ball). A fun break from the lectures nevertheless.
