St Andrew's Cross

One presumes this is not an angry spider belonging to St Andrew ... but it is a St Andrew's Cross spider. ;)

More D&D today. It was a really fun session, and a little longer than the kidlets had managed thus far. They did well, with the lad convincing some enemies that they (the party) were new recruits - thereby avoiding a fight - and all except the non-player character doing very well in the big main fight. (Old Adrik Thonhammer the NPC dwarven cleric missed spectacularly on every attempt at hitting one of the bugbears, but didn't manage - at all! - to avoid getting hit himself, and thus reduced to unconsciousness. Which back in the old days would have been death. Silly dwarf. ;) ) Anyway, so they all levelled up (except Adrik the Unconscious), and now I have to make up rules and stats for the electroball and whatever else the lad said he wanted his character to have - since he's decided he actually is Pikachu. The Pokemon. Pikachu. Not just a namesake. ;) (A stat block I found online to save me the trouble, mentions an attack called a "Thundershock", but the lad specifically said "Electro-ball". Because of course.)
