A Bar of Dark Orange Chocolate, at Sunset!
Whilst Storm Angus rattled away outside, I thought I'd indulge in some chocolate heaven....
OK, I'm actually watching Breaking Bad, on Netflix, on my PC. The chocolate 'bar' is my orange glowing illuminated keyboard (the number pad) and the huge sunset the out of focus tiny orange LED light showing that the PC speakers are on. The ambient room light is an ordinary bulb in an orangish lampshade.
OK, I lied, but that's the beauty of a good macro lens - and I why I've always owned one - you can turn ordinary household objects into fantasies and thus BLIPS, on crap days when you have absolutely no intention of even going outside whatsoever! I didn't even have to leave my armchair!!
Lens is Sigma EX 105mm f2.8 with its stabilisation ON, even allowing 1/25 sec handheld, in almost the dark. iso was 4,000 though, but that isn't even that insane these days with modern DSLRs.
HUGE thanks for ALL the attention and support on yesterday's Salisbury Cathedral misty sunrise Blip - (that was a very REAL sunrise with no household objects involved whatsoever) - cheers and good Sunday to you all and hope Angus didn't Anguish you too much.
