Jessi and Lilli, A Moment Caught

Taken on November 9, 2010, it’s one of my favorite photographs of Jessica, this tender moment caught between her and Lilli.  I often wonder what thoughts ran through her mind as she sensed her life ebbing away, knowing.    

It was 5 years ago today that she left us and this world.  It’s hard to believe, even still.  

We picked Lilli up from her daddy today to spend the week with us.  What a blessing she is.
