Aidans 50th

Aidan and his german wife Elke live opposite on a bigger section, big enough to keep 4 cows (temporarily reduced to three ! ), a few sheep, hens and about a dozen Indian runner ducks. Aidan is a Kiwi but has travelled a lot and for a couple of years worked on his cousins estate in Auchtermuchty, just about 5 miles from the village in Scotland where we moved from, although the timescales were different. Small world anyway.
This quilt is a present from, and made by, his mother and the colours are quite stunning.
I intended to crop the other bits out but I rather like the feet, so they stay !
