Last of the summer wine.........

BD1 Brass was taking part in Brass Factor in Holmfirth this evening. 6 bands against each other , 4 judges including snooker player Willie Thorn., and the audience had a vote too. We played really well and I think we entertained the audience but sadly we weren't in the top three.

Holmfirth is where Last of the summer wine was filmed, it looked very vibrant on a cold November night. We were playing in the Picturedrome in Holmfirth , a grand old building as can be seen by the detail in the staircase pictured above, but in need of a bit of TLC.
