Change is in the offing, in more ways than one, but today it was all about the weather. Strong winds blew in, putting a definite end to the Indian summer and dropping temps in half. Gusts made leave funnels and scattered them everywhere in a bit of a funky dance. Branches broke off and littered the street. Power is out in various neighborhoods. But the colors remain strong and bright. For now.

Sweaters will be de rigueur tomorrow.
