New pond

The water in front of the hedge is because of all the sleet and rain we have had over the last few days. It's not a pond really! My grass looks sodden as do most gardens.
Simply Red were simply fantastic last night, it was a great concert. We were glad we had gone on the train and met my friend Alison and her husband John on the platform on the way home. We had got soaked walking to meet up with Matt and Jade. Kate stayed the night and we had a really late night.
Sister in Law Alison came over this morning and we were going to go a walk but the weather was too bad so we sat chatting and drinking tea and coffee. They left mid afternoon and I popped out to collect my holiday money and a bit of shopping, took this with my phone on the way home.
A lovely relaxing day.
