Snowy Jura

Day off the start of my week off :-)
Not the greatest start weather wise to my week's holiday but we decided to have a quiet morning at home then head out to Glenbarr for lunch.
Lovely to see the snow on the hills of Jura and Islay as we travelled north to Glenbarr, although there was a lot of standing water on the road, testimony to the amount of rain that has fallen.
After lunch we headed to A'Cleit to try for some shots of Jura in between the showers.
Heading home we stopped at Westport beach for a walk.
A few hardy souls were in surfing.
As we walked back towards the car park a couple of the surfers came up to us and asked if we had photos of them with the mountains on Jura in the background and if so could we email them to her :-)
