Last Eight
Up early after a crap sleep.
Took Juno up the hill and then met more people and went round again. It was muggy and threatening to rain, at least it would have cleared the air.
The girls had a Scottish Cup tie today. I was over early getting the pitch sorted and plenty of water round the pitch.
I was very warm and the usual doubts were spreading around the team.
Within 5 minutes the girls were down 1-0. Some tense times until they started to believe, confidence growing and chances started coming.
The tempo increased and the girls had a dream 20 minutes with 3 goals.
Halftime and changes made, water on board and a wee chat.
Everything was thrown at the girls and they got deeper and deeper, this ment we could not play our game. A fierce defence display and they held out 3-1 victors.
We had organised food and icecream for both teams in the local rugby club.
Well done girls we are in the quarter finals.
Back home and to teenage boy suffering from 'permenant chilled state'. I pointed out to chill that there had to be some sort of unchilling.
Gardening and catching escaping hens in the garden.
