Dog at High Tide!

A good day for me, and not so for Mr L! Took my phone to carphone warehouse we I bought it 18 months ago. I described the symptoms and then after much typing and on a screen and pointing out that the Apple warranty is only for a year, the choices were a) pay £266 for him to send it off to Apple for repairs. It would take approx 3 weeks and could be extra charges as well. B) pay £148 and an additional £8 per month and upgrade the phone. He didn't know what the problems were and these were the only suggestions. I want any readers to know I was polite, but ultimately walked out without doing either. Just putside that store was a small pop up offering mobile repairs. I described the symptoms and the young man diagnosed a worn out battery. £30 and 30 minutes later, all mended, together with advice on why it was 'blown'. Readers....we are not supposed to charge our phones overnight, it wears out the battery!!!

The man had been so nice, Mr L proffered his phone and asked if he could fix the dodgy button. £10 job done. Sadly, by the time we got home, his screen was showing signs of sickness, i.e. It was going purple!

Once home, I walked Dog, who is improving slowly but surely on the mega expensive diet food for dogs with food allergies and intolerances!!!

Summer planters emptied in the garden ready for bulbs to be planted, and I washed my car too.

Off out for dinner at the Aboyne House tonight with friends D&M, long overdue and I am wearing a dress and tights two sizes smaller than I was 3 months ago! I cannot remember the last time I went out in a dress!
