Thin Places

Light in a dark wood

I went to find one of Simon Armitages Stanza Stones this morning. The woods above Silsden aren't half spooky - thick and dense as a Lishman's black pudding. It's almost pitch black with columns of light where some of the trees have been felled.

Anyway, I found it, a poem about Dew, in a series about water. I won't spoil it by showing you the location or the poem, you'll just have to find it for yourself.

I like this picture of a pile of twiggs and the interlocking branches. I took my tripod, just as well as it was dark.
