All in a row.
A really good evening out. Treated to dinner in the restaurant at the top of the National Portrait Gallery and then further treated to tickets to see Nice Fish. The new play with Mark Rylance. Double treats. A very zany play with acting out of the top draw. Somewhat surreal and DaDa-ist. It felt like I was seeing something ground breaking - even though I didn't understand what was going on. I think the answer to that is that nothing more was going on than what you saw happening in front of you. Two mates fishing through a hole in the Arctic ice and ruminating on life and stuff.
Possibly innovative modern theatre. Look out for the reviews. I think its first night is next week.
So good to be out for an evening with our Julia and her partner, Tom.
It was a race from restaurant to theatre and I just managed to grab this shot as we ran out through the gallery
