The Fog.
No, I have not converted this image to mono - this is how we were greeted when we arrived back in Guernsey this evening - eventually finding the lighthouse and folk fishing from it.
15 of us headed off to Sark this morning for the day/lunch with myself and Mr. M. being on Capt. Trevor's boat.
An excellent lunch. I was blipped out for the day taking loads of pictures. Just before we set off this HUGE bank of fog appeared from nowhere - so the plan was for all four boats to stick together and take the journey back to Guernsey very slowly.
It was quite an "unnerving" trip back - and even the GPS failed as we all ended up in Havalet Bay! Eventually, we managed to get into the harbour - avoiding the Condor ferry leaving - phew. Not the kind of weather you want to be at sea.
I think a glass of vino is now needed, badly.
